1. Download the plugin from our Plugin Center or from the Shopware Community Store.
2. Install the plugin in your Shopware backend under “Settings” → “Plugin Manager”.
If you downloaded the plugin from Newsletter2Go, select “manually add plugin” and then download the plugin.
3. Once the plugin is uploaded, it’ll appear in the “Plugin Manager” under the inactive plugins. Before using this service, you need to activate the plugin. Simply click on the “Activate” button.
4. To use the API, you need certain rights. First, load the page in the browser. A new item “Newsletter2Go” will appear under the “Marketing” menu..
Open this. If you already have an account Newsletter2Go, add your Newsletter2Go API Key now. You can find it in your Newsletter2Go account under Settings> Interface. If you do not have a Newsletter2Go account, you can create an account automatically at this point, by typing your e-mail address into the form below.
5. If entering your API key or registration was successful, you’ll receive this message:
6. Now log into your account and click Newsletter2Go on the top right at “Settings” and then “Interfaces”. Click “Set up a new connection” at this point to produce the interface in Shopware 5, if you have not already done so. If the interface has been made, but you do not yet have the latest Shopware version, click at the Shopware interface to “update available”, otherwise go directly to “login”.
7. Under “User Name” insert your user name and under “Password” the API key from Shopware. If you want your customers to synchronize the newsletter recipients automatically, select “Daily receiver synchronization of the last 24 hours”. When finished, click “Setup Complete”. your shop is now connected to Newsletter2Go.
