How do I set up the Shopify shop connection?

Hint: In Order to use the Shopify Plug-in, you will need your own Newsletter2Go Account. If you don’t already have one, you can create your own account for free here.

Setting up the shop connection:

  1. Go into the backend of your shop and select the menu option ‘Configuration’ -> ‘Apps’.
  2. Then click on ‘Generate new private app’.
  3. Copy the API key and the password.
  4. Log in, then click in the top right on ‘Settings’ and then ‘Plug-ins’.
  5. Select Shopify as your shop software. Then add the API key as the username and add the password to the relevant field. If you wish to automatically synchronise your customers as newsletter recipients, choose ‘Daily recipient synchronisation at 4am’ as well. Finally, click on ‘Save’. Your shop is now connected to Newsletter2Go.
