Newsletter display problems

The newsletter looks different when sent as a test email to how it looks in the editor or preview (format, spacing, font size or colour are different). Why might this be?

If you use your own newsletter template, our software cannot influence the formatting, so it may be due to a display error. If this is the case we recommend you set all the correct settings before uploading, or create the newsletter with our newsletter editor. This is very easy and has 2 added advantages: it is noticeably more flexible; and is optimised for display in email clients.

Some small formatting differences can be caused (line height, alignment, link colour) in some cases by the standard settings in email programs, and cannot be avoided.
