How can I align a text element or image in the editor vertically (top, middle, bottom), or horizontally (left-align, centred, right-align, block)?

This is possible with horizontal or vertical alignment, which becomes active after clicking on a block.

The settings always affect an entire block, i.e. non-highlighted section will also be affected.

If you wish to align certain sections differently create a new block by clicking ‘New block’.
